Compare Filipino baby names
Already have a shortlist? We score each first name with mother's maiden surname + father's surname and explain how it will sound in a Filipino family — at home, in school, and abroad.
You can compare a new shortlist once every 3 days. The same surnames and names show the report you already received.
A list of 3–10 names
You and your partner collected options. You need one honest ranking, not another “I just like this one.”
A family disagreement
A written verdict with sound, origin, and nicknames is easier to share than arguing from taste alone.
OFW or two countries
Check how the full three-part name travels, and whether relatives abroad can say it.

About comparing first names
What does this comparison judge?
Each first name is looked at with both family surnames: how the full name sounds, a school nickname, and how it feels for an adult. The sound score is shown next to the written note so you can see if they disagree. Neither one decides the name for your family.
Is this a substitute for family advice?
No. It is a structured second opinion. Confirm spelling, saints' names, and civil-registry rules with your family and the local civil registrar if needed.
How many first names can I compare?
Between two and ten given names, comma-separated. We attach the same maiden surname and father's surname to every candidate.
Does compare send our surnames to an AI provider?
Yes, when you submit the form: both family surnames, the first names you listed, and any optional notes go to the service that writes the comparison. Opening the same comparison again uses the saved result. See the privacy policy. Search and the scored lists do not.
